The sticker maker tool, along with all the other improvements introduced in the previous beta versions of the app, are finally available for iOS users that install the latest update of WhatsApp from the App Store. Please stay ahead by regularly updating WhatsApp from the App Store and the TestFlight app to get these features in the future in case you don’t have them after installing this update. If you don’t have one of these features, note that some accounts may receive them over the coming weeks, as noted in the official changelog.

This feature is rolling out to all users on iOS 16, but there are no plans to bring it to older versions of iOS. In particular, after extracting a subject right out of an image, it is needed to paste it into a chat: the app will automatically convert the image into a sticker that can be added to the user’s sticker collection. The official changelog still mentions new group features announced in the previous WhatsApp for iOS 23.6.74 update but it also says that it’s possible to create your own custom stickers. In the past few hours, the company has released the WhatsApp for iOS 23.7.82 update on the App Store that brings this feature to everyone as it has been highlighted in the official changelog! This feature definitely provides a more integrated experience for users by eliminating the need to switch between different third-party apps, saving time and making the process faster. In February, we announced that WhatsApp was releasing a sticker maker tool to allow users to create stickers right within the app.

WhatsApp beta for iOS enhances the media picker feature by introducing a new bottom toolbar! I have the same version but I don’t have this feature, why?Įven if WhatsApp is officially announcing the feature, some users may receive it over the coming weeks as mentioned within the changelog on the App Store. WhatsApp for iOS 23.7.82 is marked as a compatible update, but some users could be able to use the same feature after installing certain previous versions of the app.
